Therapy Services

🤍 I am currently offering virtual therapy sessions for clients residing throughout Tennessee.

How We’ll Work Together

My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and guided by somatic and mindfulness based interventions. I aim to guide and help you reconnect with your authentic self, build internal and external resources, and develop tools that will help you thrive. We’ll work together in our first few sessions to identify your unique goals for therapy, and develop a plan that will best support you.

I am committed to creating a safe space for you, where we can get to the roots of the challenges you're experiencing, and utilize practices and resources that will help you overcome the areas where you feel stuck, build confidence and live a more connective and fulfilling life.

As therapists, we use different modalities to inform our work- There are 3 core modalities that shape my work as a therapist and how I help clients overcome anxiety, OCD, trauma and all the related challenges that show up with them. I have completed trainings in all of these modalities. You can learn more about them, if you wish, below:

SomEx

SomEx is a type of therapeutic intervention that blends somatic and experiential therapy to support deep healing and nervous system regulation. SomEx is a modality that is effective in addressing trauma, addiction, and attachment wounds.

I use SomEx to help my clients gently explore and process past trauma that may still be held in the body. We will also focus heavily on strengthening resources available to you- both internally and externally. We will focus on first creating safety through resourcing before tapping into trauma. This way we can safely touch into tender or vulnerable parts of you and strengthen your resilience and self-trust.

I have completed training in all 4 modules of SomEx through the Experiential Healing Center in Memphis, TN.

Internal Family Systems (IFS-Informed)

IFS is an approach to therapy that views each of us as made up of many different internal parts, each with its own story, experiences, beliefs and role. Sometimes, these inner parts get into conflict with each other, which can create feelings of distress.

The goal of IFS is to restore balance and harmony among internal parts, by fostering compassion and a deeper sense of understanding between them.

I use IFS-informed practices to help clients cultivate self-acceptance and compassion, and build a more authentic, trusting relationship with all parts of themselves.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

ACT is a therapy modality that uses mindfulness, acceptance and behavioral interventions to help us connect to the present moment, build awareness and acceptance of thoughts, feelings, experiences and memories, and take committed action toward our values.

One of the primary goals of ACT is to help clients live a more fulfilling life that is in alignment with their values.

I use ACT to help my clients gain clarity about their values and goals, and work towards living more aligned with them through mindfulness and committed action.
